Root Need some clarification on installing Angry Bean

Use the Harmonia ROM until you've fully completed the S-off, root, fix everything procedure. After you're completely finished with that, then flash the CM10.1 ROM.

Also, do you know if VM is still going through that service update? I don't want to flash CM 10.1 and then realize I have to flash back down to a sense based ROM to be able to activate my phone.
 
Okay, I've run into a huge error and nowhere I've searched has given me an answers.

So, I'm following Remanifest's guide and using the Unforgiven Revival BAT file to lead me through steps 1 and 2.

I'm stuck at the S-OFF portion, for the wire trick. Whenever I touch the GND with my paperclip (with a strip of electrical tape in the middle for me to hold it) my screen goes black, and starts to reboot ONLY if it is plugged into the computer- otherwise it just stays black (I think it just shuts off). And then? It goes right back to the "JuoponutBear" screen. Actually, that is the only screen it goes to whenever I try to reboot it. What am I doing wrong? I followed the directions exactly, and even watched a few videos. I am putting the paperclip in the outer pin and I am barely touching the GND for the first tap, and then pressing it back on after about 2 counts.

What do I do? More importantly, how do I boot my phone up again?

I'm sorry to post so many times, but now I have another problem.

Everything is working, except that my Virgin Mobile service doesn't seem to be working. Calls don't dial, data doesn't connect, etc. Is this because of that "service update" I heard about?

I THINK you need to update your profile and prl and that good stuff while you're still on the Harmonia ROM (I apologize for the lack of clarity, it's been a long time :o). So somewhere in the settings (About phone maybe?) there should be an option to update your profile and prl. That's my guess right off the top of my head, but I could be a mile off too. You could try to PM Remanifest, he's the author of the guide, he may poke in here as well. Hopefully if i'm wrong someone else can chime in to get you straightened out.
