I'd like to explain some issues I'm having with streaming music via bluetooth from my Samsung Galaxy Nexus to my 2013 Hyuandai Elantra's radio and see if there may be any solutions. I'm running a 4.2.2 ROM (JBSoucery) and stream from Google Music All Access and Tune-In Radio. I realize 4.2.2 has some issues with bluetooth, so some may not have a fix. JBSourcery has a bluetooth "fix" you can install but it hasn't worked for me. That's nothing against those guys because their ROM is awesome. It just didn't fix my problem.
First of all, I've never been able to get music info show up on my radio's display like it does if I play music off of a flash drive. Also, I can't skip through the songs using the radio buttons like I can when I use the USB. Those may be my car's limitation and not my phone's. I don't know.
The other issues are the most annoying. Most of the time my music plays fine on BT. But randomly, I'll start the car and the music will show as playing on the phone, and both the phone and radio will indicate that BT is connected but music will not come through my car's speakers. I have to turn BT off and back on. Then it will play. And even worse, sometimes my phone will freeze up so bad that I either have to pull the battery or turn the car off to make the phone responsive again.
If anybody has any insight to these issues, I'm all ears (or eyes). Thanks in advance.
