Help need some help please

Hello all i have an iPhone 5 and its been giving a lot of issues lately and have a galaxy s3 with at&t and trying to swap over my stuff used two different programs to do this and have not had any luck at all... programs are smart switch mobile and easy phone sync...my phone will not connect to my mac at all when i plug it in it charges but thats it can't do nothing with it....does this have to do with it is rooted and has cyanogenmod 10.1 on it thank you all for your time...

What kind of "stuff" are you looking to transfer from your Iphone to the S3?
I'm not sure about the connection of the S3 to your mac as I am Apple ignorant, sorry
I don't think the issue is at all with being rooted and on the CM rom, that I can be sure of
I would surmise some sort of driver issue with the Mac?
Can I assume you don't have a windows computer that you have access to?

I would like to git my contacts for sure over, photos not to worried about i know they on iTunes....and no sorry no pc computer around here they all are RIP
and notes if need be no biggie for that i can copy them over....

thank you very much gonna mess with this in a bit.....anything maybe with notes also? and i know apple phones has iTunes for backup and all....how about android sd cards? is that the best thing to use?

SD cards will work, but just let it be known that some users (including myself) where for no apparent reason, the sd card gets corrupted and loses everything on it. ymmv. With that being said, if you decide to save things, such as notes etc, to the sd card, be sure you back them up occasionally. (computer/cloud/whatever)
Internal storage is a good place too but depending on how big your files are, that can fill up quickly leading to "insufficient memory" popups.

I can't say I know much about "notes" on the Iphone, much less the Android phone either...I just don't use many notes.

ok sounds good thank you for ya times i really appreciate it....just got my scared now i got two girls one 3 years old and one 6 months old..love to take pics of them and i couldn't see losing pictures that i take with that samsung phone.. I'm gonna give it a try and see how the galaxy does wish me luck :smokingsomb:
