I can not figure this out, it seems so easy but here is the problem. I connect my Maxx to my Mac using a USB cable, Maxx is connected as mass storage. In my Finder of the Mac, the Maxx is mounted. iPhoto than opens up for me, under devices I have Mot & Mot 1. In new photos inside iPhoto it says loading, but they never show up. Import Selected and Import 0 Photos are not highlighted nor can be. I can't figure why iPhoto does not see the photos on the Maxx. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Look in the dcim folder.
try opening up Mot and Mot 1 directly from their icons on your Mac's home screen. then highlight one of the photos within, then "command plus A" to highlight all of them in the folder, then drag them into a home screen folder you've prepared for them....thus you've bypassed iphoto and/or any concerns.
