Root Need some help with root?

C:\androidSDK\tools>adb shell chmod 0755 /data/local/try3.dat

C:\androidSDK\tools>adb shell
$ /data/local/try3.dat /system/bin/sh
/data/local/try3.dat /system/bin/sh
[1] Killed /data/local/try3.dat /system/bin/sh
$ mount -o rw,remount /dev/st9 /system
mount -o rw,remount /dev/st9 /system
mount: Operation not permitted

I get as far as mount -o rw,remount /dev/st9 /system
But i get; mount: Operation not permitted

Can anyone help me out here?

Nevermind. Didn't know I could put a new rom on with out rooting the phone

Try3 no longer works! Exploit closed. It's mentioned many times on the forum. Unlocker sucks bro like you said all you need to do is flash one eugene's roms

Right on man! I think you'll like the phone much better without all the bloatware I sure did when the b2 was my everyday phone. I only used eugene's roms but I hear good things about the one you went with. Btw, and I truly mean this, it would be nice if all new members conducted themselves like you! You seem to do your research and I noticed you always thank other members! It's refreshing so thank you!
