Help Need some help....

So my new desire z that I just got in has a small issue I can't seem to figure out, hopefully someone can. When I have my phone in the charger the screen does not automatically turn off I have to manualy push the power button if I want to turn the screen off. Any help would be appreciated.

Menu, settings, applications, development, uncheck screen stays on while charging.
