Lurker
I have the LG Optimus M with CM7.1 (Reppard's), and I was just wondering how I can get the MOST out of my phone. I've pretty much left the majority of settings as the set default but changed my Minimum CPU to 245 mhz and max at 600 mhz, and my governor is at ONDEMAND. I was just wondering is their anything I can get to optimize my battery life similar to savaged zens kernel for the htc lineup? Or is their pretty much anything besides cyanogenmod to really get the MOST out of my phone.

ALL SUGGESTIONS WELCOME

Thx. (Also I did use the search button and searched the site EXTENSIVELY before posting. So NONE of that "Don't be a newb" crap. :))

Well, for starters, try setting the max CPU higher. Try a step each time and use it till you find something that freezes and reboots the phone. Then u will know to set it one step back. This will be your Max setting. I have found my Max stable setting to be 768 on the smarta$$2 governor. Each phone is different though.

I like using juice defender to help save battery life. It works well.

For me, JuiceDefender actually drained my battery dramatically...Also setting my cpu higher would just result in my battery life being even worse. Thx anyway for your suggestion.

You're welcome. Those work for me, but like I also said, each phone is different. I get 8 to 10 hours with judicial use of web, phone, text, etc. I hope you get some good replies and can find some help.
