need some help

hi. im no good with phones. i bought a swees android phone on ebay, lasted 5 hours before it scrambled. iv tried doing a factory reset but that didnt do anything. the screen goes crazy, the battery drains and i cant do anything. but if i turn it on using the volume up key, then i can see all the setting clear, its just when its running. any thoughts

I'd recommend looking into a brand name Android phone and not a knock off from ebay. Some good reading here:

While the knock off's may be fairly cheap, you never know how it's going to act, or even how long it will last.

As bread says, you should look into buying an actual Samsung, HTC or any of brand name manufacturer.

Plus going this route, if something borks up on it, you have a warranty to fall back on to get it fixed/replaced.
