Can someone who has restored using the restore tool (with download mode) upload their unmodified system.bin and boot.bin?

You could use firmware extract tool to extract the .bin's from the tot file

I already downloaded an extractor, it was just taking for ever to download the tot, BTW I use ubuntu, not windows. Hopefully this extractor even works.

If one needed to restore their system, how would one use these files to do so? Is a PC-based tool needed, or do you use the on-phone recovery?

Was just curious. Regardless, I figured out about the LG Flash Tool and that seems to be a viable restoring option should I need it. Thanks, though!

Do you have md5 hashes to compare to? Idk if the copy was corrupted or it corrupted as I downloaded.
If I do fdisk -l system.img it gives me an error that it doesn't contain a valid partition table.
