Root Need Texting Help

I just switched to sprint from Tmobile and I had a blackberry where I was able to put a group together for texting with about 25 different contacts in the group so I can send a text out to all 25 at once. Now I have the nexus s 4g and im wondering if theres a way i can do this with this phone. I run a couple soccer teams so its important to be able to send out mass text at once. Can anyone help??

On the stock app, I add one name and it puts a comma after it. Then I'm free to add as many addresses, names or phone numbers as I like. Admittedly, I've never tried 25, but I don't see why it would hang up anywhere.

I'm sure apps like Handcent, Chomp and GOSMS would accommodate you as well.

Alternately (and more efficiently), could you set up a group under your google contacts? I have one set up for my family and I hit them with mass texts from time to time.
