Need to buy different S-Pen?

Hey Guys (and Gals),

Waiting for my Note II to arrive from AT&T this Friday.

I don't know much about this phone. I currently have a Galaxy S3.

I see that there are at least 1 or 2 different S-PENS available to purchase from accessory places.

What are the differences with these pens over the one that comes standard with the phone?

If you could make an argument for a specific BETTER pen, I think I'll order it immediately.

Thanks

The only thing I've seen on samsung.com is they have the grey ones and the white ones - Only difference I've noticed.

I think the white one you're referring to is the Samsung HM5100 Bluetooth S Pen. Apart from getting S Pen functionality, it also has better ergonomics, and you can answer your call using your S Pen :D

Here's a LINK to the video, sorry I have no idea how to embed a video here. :D

There are 3 different versions of the S-Pen (4 if you include the exclusive media BT pen that was given with the press kit; it is not comercially available as far as I know). The original S-Pen for the Note 1, the S-Pen for the Note 10.1 and the S-Pen for the Note 2. I believe they probably use the same technology (or better for the Note 2/10.1) housed in different casings for obvious reasons.

I have the original Note and using the S-Pen holder accessory. I like it because it feels like using an actual pen. I can use this on the Note and Note 10.1 without any issues. I'm sure it will also work with the Note 2. The S-Pens are Wacom pens and I've seen some users say the regular Wacom pens work on the Notes as well.

I also have the s-pen holder kit and can confirm that it works on the Note 2. Its better than using the native S-pen which for me is too skinny and short to hold comfortably
