Help Need to get Wifi passes from old phone

Ok, so I have Sony Xperia Z1 Compact (Android 4.4.2) and want to transfer all wifi passes from my old Samsung S2 (Cyanogenmod 10.0.3). Both are synced with the same Google account, both have "Backup my data" and "Automatic Restore" checked on the same accoun. No magic. Anytips / solutions (without rooting)... ? :(

I never had an issue with it. I would have to sign into my router to activate the phone / tablet but it was my home router. Any other WiFi configurations were automatically set up once the initial sync was done.

If you have root on both devices, use a root file explorer and navigate to /data/misc/wifi/ and locate wpa_supplicant.conf

Copy this file to your sdcard, transfer to to the new device, and copy it too the new device's /data/misc/wifi/ (overwriting the old one)

Reboot (not sure if this is needed, but it's not a bad idea)

Once it reboots, turn on wifi and you should be good to go.

Side note -

This file contains the passwords for every wifi point you've connected to in plain text. (It's not encrypted) you can simply open this file in a text editor and manually write down all of the access points. :)
