Need to hard-reset a MyTouch 3g with no screen...

screen doesn't work and I want to reset the phone so personal information isn't left on it.

Can anyone give me the command exact prompt (using the keys and trackball) to reset the phone.

In your case, isn't it "Hammer, hammer, dynamite, bucket of water"?

1. With device off: home plus power. After vibrate release power and hold home for ten count.
2. Release home
3. Home + Power
4. Scroll down twice with trackball. No clue how you'll know for sure, but it seems to be a quarter of a full roll for each selection.
5. Click trackball.
6. Hammer, hammer, dynamite, bucket of water
