Help Need to move multiple files from one folder to another.

Hello I just bought Samsung galaxy y. I am just stuck with a problem. I transferred some files on my cell via bluetooth. Now i want to move these files to another folder but it was irritating to move each file at a time. How do i select multiple files at a time? Please help as i want to save my time and its really annoying to select one file at a time and move it to another folder?

Thanks in advance!!

Use any file explorer..
Galaxy Y comes pre installed with My Files,
options>more>move..
select all you wish to move..

I use MyPhoneExplorer (On your computer) to transfer files now. It can be used to do the job you have on hand too. :)

Just press the left touch button while you are in the folder in which there are files that you want to move.
Then press more.
Press move and you can select all, multiple or a single file and move.

P.S - You don't need any kind of app or anything to do that on any phone! ;)

None of the above works on my Android 4.2 and I do not want to install an app just for this simple occasional little task. Seems we do not need to!
The trick is not to select any file first but to press Cut first. The File Manager then asks you to select your files. Just tick all you want; cut (or copy) and paste where you want them. Magic eh!
