I hope u can help me in knowing how to connect my Samsung Galaxy tab (GT-P1000) to a network in my university that is required a user name besides a password. Is there any special application for this ?

University networks are especially problematic in that they use stringent security with unique protocols to protect the thousands of students online. Without knowing exactly what those protocols are and what security measures your university has instituted, it would be very difficult for use to guide you. Can't the university's help desk get you set up?
