NEEDED: File Manager with PDF thumbnails

The only good app I know of is a pdf editor by xodo. Are there no file managers out there with pdf thumbnail support?

PDFs in general are layered files.

Does that mean that they have pages? Why does that make it difficult to generate a thumbnail?

Exactly. There's no way to show a paged PDF file with multiple pages in it. It may have 1 to 300 on it that's never going to show a thumbnail of any number of pages. Believe me, I'm a graphic designer by trade.

The same way it has always been done, by showing the first/cover page. Acrobat and others do it just fine for the PC. Xodo and Lirbi PRO do it for Android. It is just that neither is a dedicated file explorer and lack some of the more common features we see in other FE apps.

I agree with you 100%. Too bad a file explorer is not available to handle this issue

I have. I still use it on my tablet, but it does not work on my phone. Since ownership of the company changed, they are unintereted in returning customer service emails. If I thought they would respond to an email demanding a refund I would send one. Alas, no pdf thumbnails there either.
