Needed: specific ereader function

Does anyone know of an ereader that will sync with PC so that I can use either device to pick up where I last left off reading. It needs to support my library of preexisting ebooks not purchased from Amazon or B&N.

I use it. It's easier to find the file tree, and it doesn't have that stupid bookshelf.

Not for me. I need it for ebooks I already have on my pc hard drive. Play books doesn't let you upload preexisting ebooks.

For some reason you can't upload books from the app, but you can from a browser.

Go here:
https://play.google.com/books

Click Uploads

Upper righthand corner, click Upload Files

Drag your files in.

Profit.

Thank you so much. Worked great. Tested it out and my place was saved across devices. I had no idea that Google books made uploading available.

They always have, but I didn't use for a while and I think they made it harder to upload.

I've tried out a lot of ereader apps, and this one is the best and most improved. I ESPECIALLY like the dictionary function.

Aldiko used to my favorite, but now you have to pay to sync your progress.

Any way to put display in night mode in Google Play Books?
