Apps needs a good design software

One thing about the Android app market: there is NO good design software, particularly for layout design. Something else that Apple ios has us beat.
I've been looking all over for a program that I can use for layout projects, big ones. I can't bring my iPad everywhere and isn't as practical in many situations, so would love one that I could use on my S5.
I tried the Studio Design but it's ridiculously buggy and not good for multipage products.
I'm open to suggestions but not holding my breath.

Yes exactly. I suppose it would be a simpler version of Word, InDesign, Quark, PagePlus, PrintShopPro,...something like that.
