Help NES usb controller

[Nexus7andS3]

I was thinking of purchasing a NES usb controller then using a female usb to micro usb to plug into my Nexus 7 to play my NES emulator.

Has anyone tried this or know if it will work? Was thinking this would be a great way to use the emulator on my Chromecast.

Thanks in advance for any help!

i just use https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ccpcreations.android.WiiUseAndroid&hl=en and connect via bluetooth.

but then if you don't have a wiimote lying around i guess that's not as attractive an option.

I just tried and it looks like it does not support 4.2 and above. I'll keep my eye on it and hopefully it gets updated.

Thanks!
