NESoid/SNESoid - Does it have micro sd support?

DM616

Lurker
I just got my new S3 Galaxy and my main priority was to set up emulation.

Now, I connected my phone via usb to the computer, opened up the micro sd card, and added a folder labeled NES roms and one for SNES roms.

Now, both apps do NOT read the SD card at all. The director it reads says /sdcard but it is NOT the external sd card...just the android's own memory.

If I go back to the original root, there seems to be almost no way to access the micro sd card with the roms on it.

What gives?

Now this is odd.

N64OID has an option to go into the extsdcard director...but NES/SNES/GBCOID do not.

O_o?

Figured it out.

Type /mnt to eventually see 'extsdcard' director.

Hope this helps others who eventually have this problem.

Are you attempting to access the SD card while the SD card is mounted to the computer? Unless you use a dual-mount app, it can only be mounted to one at a time, either the comptuer or the phone.

(Not sure if that's universal or if some phones/Android versions automatically dual-mount.)
