NESoid Update!!

My fav dev Yongzh just released an update for his app "NESoid" the NES Emulator.

This update has givin the app a new icon, a yellow/black/red NES Controller. Not grey/black/red like it should be. but hey, it beats the old icon!

Also the real reason for me making this topic, this update has FIXED Punch-Out!!! and SMB3.

great news all around, as these were the main, if only problems with this emulator.

I downloaded the update and noticed a brief message about authorizing my credit card. Do paid app updates typically charge for the update? I'm guessing this was a formality and probably not an actual 2nd charge.

there shouldnt of been a 2nd charge. most paid apps will varify your credit card just to varify that you have already bought the app to proceed with the update.

that update was actually released almost a week ago :p
 
I usually check about every other day for updates, sometimes everyday just because I have a good amount of apps to keep in check lol
 
I can't get this to work. I go into setting, enable gamegenie, select the game I wans to use it on, load the game, and I get a black screen and the game never loads. Am I doing something wrong?

In the settings you set the game genie rom (after obviously enabling the option to use game-genie) to wherever the game-geinie rom is on your sdcard then go back to the main area and load up a game rom and it should start up with game-genie before the actual game, at least thats what it did for me lol.

btw..that icon is the excellent japanese version of the nes- famicom. I actually like that he selected it.

Where do I download the game genie rom? All the roms for game genie I've downloaded don't show up when I select game genie rom.

This is exactly the same thing that Is happening to me and I know this thread is old but I can't find anywhere or anyone that can help!? Plz?
 
Need help with the Nesoid app. I cannot load saved games. Mind you i am only using NESoid Lite which i think is the issue, however i was wondering if any one else knows if this is the case? If so i know i'll have to pay for the full one. just would like to play my NES games from where i last saved them for now.
 
Dwergar, you are dead on with your solution. You'll need the full version to load your save-states.
 
Does any on eknow if they removed Nesoid from teh market? i cannot find it any mire. not even the lite version that i did download.
 
I just bought NESOID today so no they didn't remove it from the market.

My question is, what is up with the Screenshots not saving into my Gallery until hours later? Anyone know what's up with that?
 
i cannot find a compatible game genie rom. EVery one is saying got to setting and enable it, but I can't find the rom. Where do you get the elusive game genie rom from?
 
I had one but i think i deleted it, not really worth having it imo. If I find it i'll let you know.
