Anyone else just putting money away without giving it to the bank?

I have maybe around oh 5K, invisible money or "trust" fund. But with the coins I have now, I probably have estamation like 1,300 USD.. Still trying to think of a huge wad I can easily head through cash though.

I do that. Especially with coins.
I won't probably have to have to use them because I plan to work until I die.
I'd like to bury them somewhere for the future of my God children but anything plastic is not ascetically pleasing to me.
Maybe a wooden chest...

Plastic is way over-rated though, but to be honest, it is weather proof have you thought of that, at least you can really go all out with Golden coins that you can cash right away.

Be sure to include the pass code with that. There are millions in cryptocurrecy floating around that no one can claim. If you plan to spend it before you die perhaps a micro-tatto on an ankle?

If the economy unravels, food will be the currency. You can't eat gold or diamonds or cryptocurrency or stocks and bonds. Paper money might come in handy... especially if you could store it in a roll.
I have been storing my paper money in many books I have, as well as dvds with big bills that can not be so quickly cashed like a few of my 100 dollar bills.

I am saving up for one of those new ear wax cleaning devices with the bells and whistles first off, I am going to the outskirts town to drop off my coins, as well as even it all out with one of my CDs too. Hmmm.. Still why does the dollar bills point on to my own thinking?
