NET10 vs. Straight Talk - $45 Unlimited Data Plan Difference

As an FYI...NET10 and Straight Talk usually mirror one another when it comes to Data Plans...and maybe NET10 will adjust again soon...but as of the end of April, the full-speed data cap for Straight Talk's $45 monthly plan was raised from 2.5GB to 3GB before throttling - NET10, for now at least, remains at 2.5GB for its $50 ($45 auto-pay) monthly plan.

*30 day Unlimited Plans include 3 GB of high speed data per 30 day cycle. After 3 GB, your data speed will be reduced for the remainder of the 30 day cycle. High speed data is restored once a new 30 day service plan is redeemed at the end of the 30 day plan cycle. Other limitations, terms and conditions of service apply. Straight Talk reserves the right to terminate your service for unauthorized or abnormal usage. Please refer always to the latest Terms and Conditions of service.

It's worth noting, as well, that NET10 SIM cards are available for much less than the $15 Straight Talk SIM.

Good point, this would give an advantage to Straight Talk for people using over 2.5GB a month. Will be interesting to see if Net10 increases to 3GB to match ST.

I was about to go back to straight talk because of this. Just never got around to it. Now net10 is at 3GB as well.

Net10 3GB for $50 now offered like Straight Talk
