Root Netfilter Enabled.. Kernal?

Hi i'm new and was wondering if there's a custom kernal that allows Netfilter to be enabled.. Most android phones come with this enabled but not the ascend. It's to allow wireless tethering to most devices that don't support ad-hoc mode. (i.e Ps3, xbox) If anyone knows how to help me please do so!

I think Icarus will allow that but you have to download a tethering app. I'm not %100 sure though. Look at the Icarus threads.
