NetFlix Bandwidth?

I side loaded NetFlix onto the Tab 10.1 and it works incredibly. Awesome!

So here's the question - anyone have any idea on average how much data is used in a single movie, say 90 minutes? Any way for me to easily determine this?

Reason I ask is that I use a MiFi in the car and this would be awesome for the kids on road trips. I believe I get 5 GB for $50/month. I certainly don't use it all the time nor use that much data when using it - for example, this first month using it, I am 18 days into my billing cycle and have only used 300 MB. So 'this month' i could probably definitely use NetFlix in the car, at least once.

It will be all about managing the data based on previous use and time into billing cycle...

Just wondering if anyone knows...

I agree...the netflix app is awesome, especially on the bigger screen. There are several apps out there that helps keep track of data, probably could help you out. I'm fortunate to still have the unlimited data plan on my hotspot so I don't have to worry about that just yet.

you can go to your netflix settings and set the quality from good to best. i believe good will use up to .3gb per hour, better will use up to .7gb per hour and best will use up to 1gb per hour or 2.3gb per hour for HD.
