Netflix for EVO and some other handsets available, not yet for honeycomb

weird no moto phones? interesting.
• HTC Incredible with Android 2.2
• HTC Nexus One with Android 2.2, 2.3
• HTC Evo 4G with Android 2.2
• HTC G2 with Android 2.2
• Samsung Nexus S with Android 2.3

So how come it's now compatible with android phones? Did Netflix not make a stink about Android not supporting the necessary DRM but all of a sudden those same devices support it? We haven't received any updates to our software (At least not my Incredible). Don't take me wrong, I'm excited we got it, and glad! but why did it take this long? And no XOOM, ugh. I prefer the real estate on that screen better lol.

How about this, I have the option to install it on my Rooted Nook Color, thanks to CM7. seems funny I can have it on that, but not my Xoom. Perhaps a honeycomb issue? How about the pre-3.0 tablets?

This is what I get for 2 moto devices. :( Well, if the new Galaxy Tabs get it, I'm even more conviced to upgrade (waiting for 3G tho). I don't at all mind using PlayOn when there's no other option, but if there's another option available, I want it.

got to be some kind of honeycomb issue

If it's Honeycomb, then why not on other 2.2 devices? It won't let me install on my Droid2 either.

honey comb being alot newer than froyo and even a lil bit newer that gingerbread i can understand an issue . but your right why no other froyo devices. especially it being able to run on the nExus s but not other galaxy s phones?

could it be bloatware? i doubt it

For what it's worth, I grabbed the apk from XDA and tried on my Droid2. It installs, and opens, but won't play. Seems from XDA that it works on some devices not listed but not all.

Here is the reason, your device needs this.. what the hell is it?
