Help Netflix for G2x? No change with Gingerbread?

I just got the new Gingerbread update this morning for my Tmobile LG G2x. I love it it! BUT- it was my understanding that the G2x would now be able to support the netflix app, but i found out differently when i went to the android market to download it. So, is the Gingerbread update supposed to support Netflix? If not, when will the G2x support the Netflix app? And if it's going to be another 4 months, is there anyway I can find a loophole? I heard something about tricking your G2x into thinking it's a G2 and then it can support the Netflix app... Does anyone know a SIMPLE free way to do this? I'm very new to all this so please keep it simple if at all possible. Thank you!

It's not up to lg to support netflix, but it's up to netflix to support the g2x. Netflix did say they hope to support all android devices in time though.
