Netflix - Interesting....

So, on my D2G and my iPhone4 I could watch Netflix while connected to a charger and it would work good. With the Razr it's a different sroty...I can watch netflix no without issues - Beautiful picture, not buffering, etc. The problem is with the charging. Even with the phone plugged into the wall (with the Razr charger) the battery drains faster than it charges while watching...It's slow but I saw it drop about 6% watching a 45minute show.

not a big deal, just found it interesting. Anyone else notice this?

Battery quality/charging speed seems to vary greatly over different devices. How long does yours take to fully charge, and how long does that charge usually last you ?

My device charges pretty quick. I can go from 30% to 100% in about 20-30 minutes or so. I'm getting about 9-12 hours out of a charge with 'normal' use. Of course if I hit the internet hard or play games alot it will not last that long...

Yeah battery charging sucks thru USB, I usually stream audio thru phone when at work and keep phone plugged in to USB noticed with the Razr battery drains at same rate as it charges so battery never charges when streaming. Disappointing!

Be only disappointed in the USB port on your computer that can only output 500mA.

Actually, I am charging with the wall charger that came with the phone, not a USB cable or the car charger...and it still drains while watching/charging.

I preordered so I've had my phone for a week now...I charge it every night, first three days I let it drain to 10% then full charge...

I'd let it run all the way down (let a video run when its getting close), and then let it sit on the charger 2-3 hours after fully charged, 4-5 times. If its still draining quickly, take it back to the store.

Actually, mine sits on the charge all night, I use it as my alarm clock in the HD dock.

So are you guys saying while you are watching Netflix, plugged into the wall with the charger that came with the phone, that yours does not lose charge slowly?

I think I get pretty good life out of my battery (about 9 hours) life....Don't think I have a battery issue I just think its because of the large screen....

Not the screen...I don't have a RAZR (Sensation 4G, has similar specs and other ssmartphones), and I've streamed Netflix and Sling box, via wi-fi (with wi-fi best performance enabled) and 3G, and my phones "charge" during playback...even with screen brightness turned up fairly high (but never at max, just doesn't look right).

You either have something wrong with the charger, cable, USB port, or have a bad battery.

Try a higher mA charger. The razr comes with a 750. Try a 1000 (1.0A)

Report back...
