Help Netflix menu looks bad

I recently picked up an android box for streaming netflix and kodi. The thing runs great but my netflix menu looks horrific. All netflix movies play in full 1080p but the menu is incredibly pixelated. I have been fiddling with settings on the box itself to no avail. Any ideas on how to fix this?

I think "android box" is a bit too vague.
An actual model number is more likely to attract useful answers.
