Netflix problem on Droid RAZR MAXX:

Anyone know the solution?

I get to Netflix, click on movie to watch, but gets hung up or "stuck" on "loading..." and never loads. Been like this for weeks. I've tried to install, reinstall, Safe Mode, Clear Data, Delete Netflix app, with and without Updates, Soft Reboot, etc etc...nothing works. Any suggestions?

Please help. Thank you kindly.

I believe the app has been updated to only play on wifi.
You could also make sure you don't have any apps set to have access in accessibility. For myself and many others, that stops Netflix from loading altogether.

Ugh! So, is there anyway around this?! That really bites.

Actually, I think the update only added an option to play over WiFi only. Check the settings and see if that is ticked. There is also an option for HD over WiFi only IIRC so you may want to check for that as well.

I no longer see an option for settings.

Found it. It's at the very bottom after scrolling through selections.

Tyring to get into Netflix Settingsand unable to get any pulldown menu for setting, specifically for Netflix. Is there another area to check? The Droid Settings itself?

I had the same problem.
Try this.

  1. Navigate to Settings.
  2. Under System, choose Developer options.
  3. Under Apps, uncheck Do not keep activities.
  4. Re-enter the Netflix application and try playing again.
