I mean - isn't what's available on the phone always available for pc streaming? o_O

Edit - I just pulled it up and streamed some on my laptop - search just for Robocop, look for the cover as above.

Robocop.. got very bad reviews in theaters.
but netfixers gave it better rating. is it because of cost? so expectations are lowered?

Yeah, I enjoyed it because I'm too cheap to admit who I am.

That or I have high expectations and I happened to like it.

Pick one and believe it, I really don't care.

On a slightly different tack....

The second series of Danger 5 has just appeared on Netflix.. oh and I'm watching The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt which is very good.

there is a lot of choices on Netflix...
but lately.. I have not been able to pick. just spend most of my time looking.

No Netflix here, so I'm streaming....

Mandarin with English captions.

From IMDB:
"In Tangshan, the truck driver Da Qiang, his wife Yuan Ni and their twins Fang Da, their son, and Fang Deng, their daughter, are a happy simple family. On 27 July 1976, a devastating earthquake destroys Tangshan, and Da Qiang dies while trying to rescue his children from their apartment. When a collapsed beam traps Fang Da and Fang Deng, Yuan Ni is forced to decide between saving her son or daughter and she chooses Fang Da. However, her daughter Fang Deng overhears her mother's choice and miraculously survives. She is rescued by a soldier and adopted by Mr. Wang and his wife with the name Wang Deng. Thirty-two years later, after an earthquake in China, Wang Deng, now married to a Canadian lawyer and living in Vancouver with her daughter, travels to China and voluntarily joins the rescue team. By chance she meets Fang Da and she learns the drama of Yuan Ni through all those years. The family is finally reunited at Yuan Ni's home, where bitterness is exposed and resolved."

Yesterday I watched the first episode of "The Returned" (French version, with subtitles) on Netflix because the US version has just started, I'd heard the French version was good & I wanted to compare. They're really similar but apparently after a while the US version will veer away from the French plot, and the French version has the entire first season out where we only have 2 episodes of the US version so far.

The show is good if you like suspenseful, creepy, supernatural type shows. Which I do! :)

Slight rant: I'm not a fan of having multiple versions of the same show, especially with the knowledge that one is going to have a different storyline than the other - reminds me of Broadchurch & Gracepoint. Both are perfectly good shows on their own but I watch both, & it gets confusing! (especially in the case of those 2 particular shows, both have David Tennant* playing the main character)

*I actually watch both because David Tennant is pretty

Now watching "Bloodline" on Netflix. (Yeah I know, I need to get a life :p ) I just started episode 3, it's interesting. Not "OMG it's the best show ever" but pretty good, worth a watch if you like dramas.

Bloodline is an American Netflix original thriller–drama television series. According to a press release, Bloodline "centers on a close-knit family of four adult siblings whose secrets and scars are revealed when their black sheep brother returns home."

Right off the bat, middle son John Rayburn (Kyle Chandler) explains that the arrival of his screw-up older brother Danny (Ben Mendelsohn) spells doom for the Rayburn family. Danny takes his time revealing the true reason for his return to the Keys: He wants to return home for good and help out with the family’s hotel business. The way John and his other siblings—Meg (Linda Cardellini) and Kevin (Norbert Leo Butz)—talk and move around Danny convey the weight of his return and the past pains he has inflicted, although the specifics remain, for now, unknown.

"We're not bad people, but we did a bad thing."
