i am looking for either a way TO or an APP that will allow me to print from my Gnex's. I have my printer hooked up to my network so i was wondering if there is a way to print to it.. free apps only please if there is an app.

thanks guys

Go to Market.... Oops, I mean Google Play, type in your printer name/make and see what the search box brings you. I had an app for my Canon printer that worked well.

ya i have a canon but it only prints either scanned docs from my scanner to my phone or images... cant print docs or webpages

Hi, I've virtually tried them all and the best and cleanest solution I found is "printershare". It comes in two parts, the Android app, of which there is the free to try (30days) version with limited functionality and the premium licence key, which enables internet printing.
the second part is a free desktop app for the Windows PC that runs as a service in Windows. You can either choose to setup a free cloud account with the app provider which acts as a condiut to your printer via the internet - this will work if all fails - or you can choose to print directly to your network printer via "Nearby - WiFi" if you have a WiFi access point in your network (router, hotspot, etc. You configure both the app and your desktop applet. No additional driver installs are required as the setup uses the drivers installed by Windows for your PC/printer. Beauty is you can print photos, emails, copy and paste text, print web pages, calendar events, contacts, call logs and google docs. IMO it is the easiest and most efficient printing app in the market. Before your buy look at their website and read up to see if this meets your need http://www.printershare.com/. By-the-way, I have a Ricoh Aficio colour laser, which in terms of third-party support is quite obscure (compaired to your Cannon), but even that works flawlessly.

OP, have you checked out Google Cloud Print? I think it does just what you're looking for.
