Help Network connection

Hey all,

Trying to set up my Samsung Galaxy (GT-P3110) to my wireless home network.

This appears to be a constant issue for alot of users, one Samsung refuse to admit. Hoping someone here is able to help me out.

After entering the network password it floats around the idea of "Obtaining IP Address..." before telling me the "Network Disabled. Poor Connection"... Funny since the pop up box me I have "Very Strong" Signal Strength and I am less then a meter away...

Anyway, My home set up is as followes:

Modem: Netgear ADSL2+ DMP111P
Router: DLink Smartbeam DIR-645

Any assistance you are able to give me would be fantastic!!

Not sure about the part where you say its a constant issue Samsung refuses to admit, since in 4mos with my tablet I have yet to experience a single disconnection from a wireless network.

Anyway, what is the security type your network uses?

My tab is sill on 3.2. In 5 months, I only experienced the "poor connection" problem once. It turned out that i mistyped my password.

While I was on Honeycomb I never had an issue, but since the ICS update my gt-p6210 has done nothing but continuously drop my home wifi connection and I'm 1 foot away from the router. I have reset the tablet 6 times and to no avail, it still drops. I've called, chatted and facebooked support and still nothing. I called again and they told me to return it so they can fix it, but no guarantee it's going to work. Just sent it off today and hopefully I will get it back within a week as I was told.
