Help Network Issues

I live on the border in Ireland and the Samsung galaxy s2 is always picking up the best signal. Sometimes this is Vodafone UK and sometimes it is Vodafone Ireland.

I want the phone to stay on Vodafone UK regardless of Signal strength. it is costing me a lot of money when it switches to Vodafone Ireland.

I have went to Settings -> Wireless and Network -> Mobile Network -> Network Operators -> Vodafone UK.

Will this be enough to make sure the phone does not pick up Vodafone Ireland?

Did u turn roaming off

yea roaming has been switched off.

it seems to try to pick up the best signal which can be either vodafone UK or ireland.

i want the phone to always pick up vodafone UK...

its the aame logic as when you go abroad..you pick up the countries network for calls and texts.
