Our internal development server is not public facing, so web sites on it are only accessible when connected to the network (wired or wireless). Once on the network, development sites are accessed via:
dev/development/sitename/filename
That is the convention. When I connect an iPhone to the wireless network and navigate to a development site using that naming convention in Safari, it works just fine.
When I connect a Nexus 7 to the wireless network and attempt to browse to a development site using Chrome, it redirects me to the Google web page and says it is unable to locate the web page. Is there something more I need to do within Android or Chrome to make it realize I am navigating to an internal network location? The identical URL that works when typed into Safari on an iPhone fails on the Nexus.
Any help is appreciated!
TIA
