Help networking TF201

Although I can see my Windows networked shared folders from the tablet, I would like to be able to push files to it from my Win7 PC. Is there any way this can be done without rooting the TF201?

I couldn't get the mynet app to work - it just spins.

But I have recently discovered polkast. It allows you to view files from your pc on your tablet. It will stream music & video. From anywhere.
