NEW 2 THIS Question

Not sure what you want with new themes. You can get a different launcher such as go launcher ex, launcher pro, ADW launcher ect... You can get different icon sets for these.

ok, where do i get that, how do i put it on my phone? i see different background and icons...thats what i am trying to do...thanks
 
I personally like Go Launcher EX download from the market, then after the install you can press home, press menu, select preferences, and then select "Themes Preferences" that will take you to the market and you can choose the theme that is best to your liking
 
Check out the droid x all things root section for details on how to get custom roms that will allow for more customization
