This is a joy to find this site. I have been in bed with this new computer for a month now, and lots was answered by 'punching til it works' but some of the new terms are spoken differently than my 30 years experience.

I found this site by typing. 'Android media reset. After reading the posts about this I am going to try some things. Thank you.

File management is an area that I am missing the boat. I have the Astro app, and for the most part it is great, it even sees the 350G hard drive I plugged into the USB. Some of the USB 'sticks' (I call them nerd sticks) aren't recognized.

My main concerned is how do I tell apps to save to the external SD card? This tablet seems to have a mind of its own, and that is good, but I would like to communicate with that mind and save my work on the external SD.

I appreciate any help I can get on this, and Thank You in advance.
