Help New and need help

hi everyone im new to the forums, i got my samsung Gio a few days ago everything was good until the other day, i installed Kies on my computer and it worked fine, then i updated Kies and it wouldn't not recognise my phone, i tried going back to the old version and even tried on my daughters computer but still no go......any help with this would be great!
Now my computer wont recognize my phone

It seems a load of Galaxy Gio have this problem, I would try to return it and grab another one at another location so you have better chance to get another unit that wasn't in the same shipment and that will work.
