Hi. New to rooting. Read through the newbie guide but i run into issues becauase my version is not listed. I am using samsung S2 G4 Sprint carrier.Android version 4.0.4 sph-D710 kernal 3.0.15-1173404 FL24 hardware ver d710.10. Basically what i want to do is have root access and most recent versions of everyhing availa le and
 
Since no one replied, I think the answer is to get a new phone. The S2 seems to be thoroughly abandoned. This just convinced me it's time for a new phone.
