We've built a service for Android that allows you to skip the currently playing music track via a quick tap to the top of your phone, even if the screen is turned off and/or you're in another application.

Designed to be most useful for drivers. Keep your eyes on the road instead of going through screen unlock and finding the right app/widget.
Currently the service works with the default Play Music app, and the official Last FM app. We're working on support for Grooveshark, Spotify and Napster.
