New Android Guy (Almost)

Hey yall,

My name is Cameron and I'm a senior at The University of Georgia majoring in Computer Science. I've had nearly every release of the iPhone since 2007 and have recently abandoned the crashing Apple ship. I am not too familiar with the android scene, but from the experience of friends I am ready for the switch. I'm going to purchase the Galaxy S3 soon, but am really waiting on a price drop or the release of the new colors (preferably black). Well that's about all! If anyone has any suggestions/tips you're more than welcome to share!

Honestly, who knows when this "price drop" will occur, most likely you will have to wait for a release of another flagship phone. Or a 2 year contract deal.

Otherwise you can always find lower priced phones on amazon, or ebay.

I have the blue it's quite nice it's not as bright as web photos would have you believe. Much better than black k that I had in the iPhone 4

So you guys don't think the S3 price will drop around Christmas time? I may go ahead and buy it soon then. I wish some information would be released on which providers will be receiving which colors!
