New Android Market Update (?!?)

Folks,

anyone else notice the new market update (or... something??). As of late last night, the paid apps were unavailable; this morning, when I opened the market, I received an unexpected prompt to accept the updated market terms/conditions. After accepting, I was passed into the market... which never loaded. Currently, the market is no longer available on my G1 (unmodded, on tmo). Now, when I open the market, it hangs in the 'loading' phase.

Anyone else having this issue?? Could this possibly just be my phone?? (then why the new terms and conditions...?)

thx!

I have a rooted G1, but no issues with app market recently.

What version of Android are you running ?

Ok - I figured out at least part of the problem: 1. Paid apps are not available from the market if you access the market as follows: a. enable airplane mode b. enable wifi; connect to market in airplane mode via wifi When I do the above, all paid apps are disabled and/or invisible in the market. Probably y'all already knew this, but I didn't! Second, the problem wit the market was temporary - about 4 pm yesterday it was back online, and I've been able to connect to it ever since. Not sure what the prob was, but I now believe it wasn't a phone problem, but a market problem or a combo of market access/device/carrier/location. Thanks, MB
