Help New android phone accepting the right e-mail

Hello everyone,
I am new here, an need some help to be able to use my new android phone.
When I first set up my new phone I put in the wrong e-mail address, well it won't accept my correct addy.
I don't know how to do a factory reset
any help is so appreciated.

What device do you have?
Try going to your settings/backup & restore/factory reset.

If that is not possible, let us know what your device is and we can help some more
