New Android phone owner

[crowlascrafts]

Hi there - I have come along to try and learn the 'operating system' (for want of a better phrase) that my San Fransisco phone uses. I am told I am a bit of a geek when it comes to using a pc- but I am not sure how this phone works.

Looking for an idiots guide to the android phone to fill in the gaps. Have downloaded some great apps, but I want to use it more for work than just laughing at the talking squirrel!!

Looking forward to some heavy reading!

Jo

Welcome to the forums

Is that the Orange San Francisco? If so, you probably want to take a look here: Orange San Francisco (ZTE Blade) - Android Forums

It's pretty easy to get a custom ROM on there and if you're a geek, I'm sure it'll be a breeze.

Welcome to Android Forums!

We have lot's of idiot guides ... i should know, I'm one of them

If you are interested in learning the Android OS from a user's perspective, here's the latest manual.

If you want to see it from a developer's point of view, this is where you'll find that information.
