There are a variety of ways to sync outlook with your phone, but I think you'll find that, especially if you are using a desktop client and not an exchange server, it is easier to move away from outlook for your phone sync.

Not all Android devices have the same feature set, so you'll be better off looking for solutions in the forum for your specific phone model.
