I am a newbie.. want to delete some contacts from my phone list. cannot figure out how.. any help? I have the 4g Android

There are a couple of ways to delete. First if you go into the contacts list on the phone. Open the contact that you wish to delete. Press the menu button and then select delete.
The other way is to go into Gmail on your computer (assuming that your primary email account on the phone is that same Gmail account). Go into the contacts list, select and delete the contact from there. Once done the change should be sync'd to your phone soon after.
