New Android User

I just bought a new HTC Evo Shift and have been using it for two weeks. So far I love it! I have found a few apps I love and use frequently. For the past 3 days MyFitnessPal, Facebook, and Pandora apps have all been force closing for being non-responsive. I searched Google for the answer and found myself here! I will be looking around for my answers.

From what I have already read, I probably downloaded a bad app. Now I need to find out how to uninstall apps I don't like/want. I went free app crazy once I learned the basics of the phone navigation. I look forward to being apart of this forum. So far I love my phone, I just need to learn the little things that make it run smoothly. Much like my laptop, I'm sure downloading crap apps and having low RAM will make the phone really slow and cause problems. See ya around!

Are you rooted yet? If not you should. Here's your forum

EVO Shift. Titatium Backup is an app that a lot of folks use (including myself). TB will freeze apps so you can see if that app will cause problems if you delete it.

There is a thread in your forum that's called "rooting?? ". Click on the link I put in my last post. It explanes what rooting is.
I don't know how to cut and paste from my phone.

Nah, I didn't write anything in that thread. I just led the way. I live in the
Eris - All Things Root forum.
