i just replaced the screen of the phone with a new one and while i was fixing it i broke the antenna getting it out. i replaced it with a new one but now it wont find any type of service. ive reset the access point twice, made sure everything was connected right, and tested the sim card. is there anything that i can do to get the antenna to work or maybe i just got a dud???

Getting the antenna sitting just right is one of the most difficult things to do. You can open the phone and reset it dozens of times and still not get it right. Do yourself a favor and see if you can find a shop willing to repair a phone that you've already worked on, and pay them to do it right, before you break something else.

Yes that's correct and it may not be your repair and install this maybe the part is or was bad before you installed . find a repair center to send to
