New Apple Product

"everything is a few hundred clicks away"

I nearly coated my keyboard with a mouthful of hot coffee when I heard that, 99 more clicks to go and I will be on the net, hold on Im nearly there...click click clickety click

Not a great product for speed typers, maybe for the one finger brigade but it doesnt fire my cherry sorry Apple, I prefer the real McCoy

Reminds me of the old DynoLabeler rotate-wheel of letters to the correct letter then punch it into the tape rotate to next letter repeat ... two minutes later you have spelled out MacBook-Wheel :)

Hank or Jack?

Gotta love the quote by the Apple user..."I'll buy almost anything if it's shiny and made by Apple."

Features:
Hummingbird Battery that provides a FULL 19 minutes of usability.
"The computer is virtually unbreakable unless dropped or hit."

Next Generation:
"...4 ounces lighter due to its lack of screen, hard drive, or wheel."

:p

"It remains to be seen if the Wheel will catch on in the business world where people use computers for actual work and not just dicking around."

From SNL to Colbert and Daily Show we all have seen a lot of fake stories/commercials. Did anyone notice the extremely high production value of this piece?

It appeared like real hardware, with real working screens, all the fake marketing materials too.

Do you think this maybe had Apple's blessing as a joke before MacWorld and to snub all the blog sites guessing Apple's launch?

Anyone watch the Onion a lot? Is this the level they always got too?

Well color me VERY impressed. Tech stories are hard to do right and this one is the model in my opinion. Nicely done.

tbh i didn't even notice this was a joke lol.
I wouldn't be surprised if apple released something like this though.
It does look pretty real, but Apple would waste lots of R&D on a product like this. Microsoft Bob would look like an eternal top seller in relation to that. :p

Are they serious??? who are they marketing this to my 4 year old daughter maybe? what a waste of time.... in the time it took him to show the demo I could have typed out an entire paragraph..... Seriously funny man... would be great if they ran this on TV during like Saturday night live or something....

Yeah, they've had the "Onion News Network" videos for quite some time now. There's even a line of videos that's a fake "Good Morning America!" type show. I think it's like "Good Day Now!" or something. Hilarious stuff. LOVE THE ONION!!!!
